Standard OSD Marker Plates and Signage Council Requirements
Standard marker plates must be affixed to all OSD basins to inform owners, residents, maintenance personnel, contractors, and others of the location of the OSD system. The specifications for the standard OSD marker plate are as follows:

Non-corrosive metal or 4mm thick laminated plastic. Screwed to the nearest masonry, concrete or permanent surface, and be above the expected water surface level in the basin. If in doubt contact Council. |

Wording: |
Minimum letter height of 5mm. Wording to consist of; THIS IS AN ON-SITE STORMWATER DETENTION SYSTEM REQUIRED BY LOCAL COUNCIL IT IS AN OFFENCE TO REDUCE THE VOLUME OF THE TANK OR BASIN OR TO INTERFERE WITH THE ORIFICE PLATE THAT CONTROLS THE OUTFLOW THE BASE OF THE OUTLET CONTROL PIT AND THE DEBRIS SCREEN MUST BE CLEANED OF DEBRIS AND SEDIMENT ON A REGULAR BASIS BY THE OWNER THIS PLATE MUST NOT BE REMOVED |
